We are proud to bring back the Long Strong Family Giving Campaign! By donating, families are showing their Long pride and contributing to the PTA operating budget for critical items such as: 

• Educational and arts enrichment opportunities
• Student safety and well-being initiatives
• Teacher and staff wish lists, classroom resources, and club support
• Campus and facility improvements... and so much more!!

Currently, 65% of our operating budget is funded by generous donations from outside sources like Lakewood Early Childhood PTA and feeder pattern PTAs. Through Long Strong, we have an opportunity to invest in our own school and increase the impact of giving from within the J.L. Long community. 

Any amount counts! Families who give $1+ can pick up a Long Strong donor sticker and all donor students will get free dress day on September 4th.

 There are several Long Strong donor levels for you to choose from, so please donate today and show your support!

The Long Strong campaign happened once before during Covid when the Long Run could not take place. It became a powerful reminder of what our community can accomplish when we come together and we're proud to re-start that tradition.

While Long Strong is our fall family giving campaign, the Long Run remains our PTA's largest fundraising event through student and family run registrations and corporate sponsorships.
