JL LONG YEARBOOK CLUB
Yearbook Club members work together to create the school's annual yearbook from start to finish. Responsibilities include photographing school events, designing page layouts, selecting and editing photos, writing copy, selling advertisements and yearbooks, and distributing the finished books.
Students manage assigned sections of the yearbook, make creative decisions about content and design, and use current publishing software and technology to produce a professional-quality publication. Throughout the year, members work to meet a series of production deadlines from August through May, ensuring all photos, layouts, and content meet yearbook specifications.
The club's goal is to produce a high-quality yearbook that captures the memories of the school year and is delivered to students before the last day of school.
