About the Band Program

There are more than 200 students in the Buc Band. The band consists of Beginner Band (open to students in all grades), Symphonic Band (7th and 8th grade), and Wind Ensemble/Varsity Band (7th and 8th grade, by audition).

The Buc Band is truly a family where kids have a group to bond with as they develop a lifelong love and appreciation for music. Learning to play an instrument develops confidence and discipline and boosts achievements in other academic areas. There are several performances, programs, and competitions throughout the year.

Band Fees

Yearly band fees are $75 per student and due by October 1st.

Payments can be made by cash, check, money order,

Venmo @JLLong-Bucband or Zeffy (for credit cards).

Fees cover band shirts, meals, events, binders, music, instrument supplies, maintenance & more!

Payment plans & scholarships are available upon request. If you need assistance paying band fees or participating in other band events where there is a cost associated, please reach out to Mr. Howe.
