Math and Science Team
Math and Science team is a “built-in” day class to support students who desire to excel in Mathematics or Science in order to meet their individual needs with a challenging program. Few middle schools have this “built-in” day class like J. L. Long does. There are four categories in competition such as Number Sense (Mental Math), Calculator (it helps students to build a strong mathematical sense using a scientific calculator), General Math (6th -12th grade level of math) and Science.
