SCHOOL CLOSURE REMINDER

With the aftermath of the inclement weather still presenting very real challenges for our families and schools, Dallas ISD schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 22 and 23, and there will be no virtual learning. District essential staff continue to work to clean up and repair pipes and water damage at the schools. Updates will be provided on the district website and social media channels. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prepare schools for students’ safe return.

Treasurettes Auditions

Current 6th and 7th Grade students interested in auditioning for 2021-2022 Treasurettes should plan to attend (with a parent!) the virtual interest meeting via Zoom on Thursday, February 25th @ 6:00 pm.

Cheer Tryouts

Want to show your school spirit by becoming a J.L. Long Cheerleader? If so, please download and complete this packet (or get a hard copy in the Library from Coach Hill) and register today! All packets are due to Coach Hill by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3rd.

Spirit Store is Open!

The Spirit Store is open for pre-orders! Order your items between now and February 22nd at noon. Pick up for all pre-orders will be February 24th from 3:45 pm - 5:30 pm.
