Wednesdays have been confirmed as the Asynchronous Learning Day for the JL Long Campus.  Parents and Students can read the attached document to learn more about the differences between Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning Days.

As a general rule, students should plan to follow the bell schedule on Wednesdays, but can complete assignments at their own pace and turn them in by the designated due date.  Teachers will also hold "office hours" during their regular class times for small group instruction and tutoring should a student need assistance.  They will not conduct lessons via Zoom for the entire class on Asynchronous Learning Days (Wednesdays).

Synchronous vs. Asynchronous Learning Days

To streamline password support for the first day of school, DISD Information Technology (IT) has reset the password for all student accounts.

Student User Name: This will be the student’s 7-digit ID number

Student Password: This will be the letter S the 7-digit ID number (For example, S5000123)

Although the students aren’t required to change their passwords again once they have been reset by IT, it is encouraged. Please see the attached video on how the student can change their password in OneAccess.
