Dear Long Community,
It's hard to believe that we are half way through our summer! I hope you have had a wonderful summer so far, and have found some time to relax before the hustle and bustle of preparing for another school year hits in a couple of weeks.
To do its work of supporting the staff and students, the PTA depends on an incredible community of parents and volunteers who give generously of their time, leadership and financial support to make a different for all students at JL Long. If you haven’t had the opportunity to be involved in this community, now is the time!
The PTA has been hard at work creating our new and improved website. Jump into the Long community by visiting the website and register your family and student information at our one-stop shop for all things Long. This includes t-shirt sizes, newsletter sign up, photo release information and what information you’d like to include in our PTA directory. You'll be able to purchase event tickets and spirit wear and let us know important information about your family!
This new site will also allow us to have an online directory accessible to PTA members. We also have a new interactive calendar with all of the important dates outlined for the school year. You will be able to link this calendar directly to your phone or computer to stay up to date on any changes too!
Instructions have been included below along with a general Q&A about how our site will work and what we hope to accomplish with all of its new features. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need help navigating the new site or if you have questions at president@jllong.com.
