Dallas ISD has scheduled Middle School Parent-Teacher Conference Night for Tuesday, October 21, from 4:30–8:00 p.m.

We recognize that this short window does not allow every parent to meet with all of their child’s teachers. To help with scheduling, our teachers have created Sign-Up Genius links for 10-minute conference appointments during that time. Conferences will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please use this link to access each teacher’s conference sign-up Genius. bit.ly/LongFallConferenceNight

If you are unable to secure a conference slot for Tuesday evening, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher to arrange an alternate meeting date and time.

Our grade-level Assistant Principals and Counselors will also be available throughout the evening without an appointment to share STAAR report cards, Quarter 1 report cards, and to answer any questions you may have about your child’s progress. We will be stationed in the library on the 3rd floor. Please come by and see us!

We look forward to connecting with you and working together to support your child’s success!

PTA News

The staff enjoyed this last year so much we have decided to do it again this year!

We are asking parents to break out their best soup recipe to feed our teachers & staff for Halloween. They will be voting on the best soup & the winner will get bragging rights.

Gather a group of friends, your PTA committee, or take the prize all on your own!  Plan to provide soup to feed approximately 25 people. Please bring it to the school in a crock pot to make it easy to serve & keep warm. Also, please provide “fixings” to accompany your soup.

The 2025 Lakewood Home Tour is just around the corner and as much as the beautiful homes are vital to making it a success, so are our amazing volunteers!

The home tour raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for our schools in East Dallas, but it cannot happen without you.

We're currently at 50% volunteer staffing for the weekend and could really use some extra helping hands.

Would you please consider signing up for a volunteer shift on either Saturday, November 8th or
Sunday, November 9th? The houses are all so beautiful and it's a great way to meet neighbors and other parents. Come hang with us!

So many of you have volunteered in the past, are fully involved this year, and some have even said yes to letting us inside your stunning home so THANK YOU!! We really appreciate all of you and we can't wait to see you at the Lakewood 2025 Home Tour!
